Es ist sehr minimalistisch und genau das was ich für meinen begrenzten Raum als Homegym gebraucht habe. Einfach an- und abmontieren und der Platz am Rack ist wieder Frei für andere Übungen. Das 10m lange und 30mm dicke Seil reicht völlig aus. Hatte erst das 40mm/15m bestellt. Man muss schon ordentlich Platz dafür haben.
Sonst muss man nur darauf Achten, wie man das Rope zieht. Denn die Kanten an den äußeren Rollen können das Seil schon beschädigen, wenn man nicht drauf aufpasst.

It functions very well. After pulling for 5 minutes, the heart rate rises to its maximum and the forearm muscles lose all strength. I didn't buy the rope because of the product price and transportation fee, but the rope on the market is twisted, so the body of the battle boa keeps twisting and the rope behind it has to be released continuously. If possible, I think it would be better to buy a rope together.

Jakob, danke für die tolle Bewertung plus Video!!! Zum Glück habt ihr ja ein passendes Battle Rope gefunden. Auf der Boa Seite kann man sich eines unserer Seile als "Bundle" kaufen. Im Standard ist keines dabei, weil viele Kunden schon ein Rope haben und wir den Kaufpreis nicht unnötig erhöhen wollen.
This is a follow-up to my recent first review. Even though the Battle Boa is SO easy to take back and forth between my home and my beach house, I liked it SO much that I decided to buy another one so that I could have one permanently installed at each location. As I stated in my first review, the Battle Boa is a super well made, commercial-grade piece of equipment. Great company with superb products and excellent customer service! Thanks!
P.S. - I'm now going to buy a Revvll ONE and install it near the floor in the basement at my house, along with the Battle Boa that I already have installed near the ceiling, so that I can easily switch from low rope pulls/upright rope pulls on the Revell ONE to high rope pull downs on the Battle Boa. Who knows, maybe I'll end up getting two of those too!

Superbly made piece of equipment. Easily commercial grade. Using a 2" rope through it, and it works perfectly. I take the rope trainer with me to my beach house, and then simply hang it up there, and use it with the rope I have there. Extremely easy to transport and use in two (or more) different locations. The rope trainer is also infinitely adjustable - from virtually no resistance to a level that would take ten men to pull it through. Early days, but it does the business - I’m worn out after a few pull throughs!
I bought a 38mm, 12 metre rope from another supplier - I was concerned that it would be too big for me as a small woman, but it’s the perfect girth and length for both me and the Battle Boa.
Interested to discover how long it will be before the rope needs replacing…

Quality is great, performance is great, I like it. Price might be a little high in retrospect, once you see and have it in hand. That could be a barrier to some. But no complaints overall. Glad i found it and chose to get it. Thank you!
The Battle Boa is a compact and extremely robust training tool. The main components are made of stainless steel and aluminum, and the simple and robust construction makes it seem indestructible. The ingeniously simple, infinitely variable adjustment mechanism allows for a very quick change between different load levels. Since you can use any battle rope, the Battle Boa is also very flexible. I have expanded the Boa with a stainless steel swivel, which I use to hang it, because this makes it easier to grasp when you reach the end of the rope and immediately want to continue with the other side and then have to “twist” the Boa. Of course, this also works with the included anchor sling, but with the swivel it is even smoother and easier. The only disadvantage: the rope “suffers” from use in the product, but this is already noted in the item description in all fairness. This is not a drama, but after a certain time it is clearly noticeable and, above all, visible. This can be quickly remedied with a lighter (it really is not rocket science), but if that bothers you, you'd be better off choosing one of the two revvll trainers. However, the BattleBoa has clear advantages over the revvll (ONE and PRO): the thickness of the rope can be varied, the resistance can be increased to a complete stop, and the battle rope challenges the hands much more than the PU ropes of the two revvll models. You can do “arm sprints” with the Boa, i.e. extremely fast pulling for a limited time (this is only partially possible with the revvll ONE and not at all with the revvll PRO). In addition, the BattleBoa makes no noise (like the revvll PRO) and does not become statically charged (like the revvll ONE). At first, I was skeptical about whether it might be annoying to reach the end of the rope, but switching to the other end works surprisingly well, so that the training flow is only slightly interrupted. Of course, this is even better with a revvll PRO rope trainer (which I also use). Another advantage of the revvll is that the PU rope is easier to clean (which is certainly reassuring in the gym, where many different hands operate the rope). What running is for the legs, the revvll and the BattleBoa can be for the upper body: intense strength endurance training. The effect sets in after a few minutes. At first, you think it's just a gimmick. And then the muscles start to burn... A short time later, almost every muscle in the upper body hurts. The Battle Boa is certainly not cheap, but the high-quality materials and the almost indestructible construction justify the price. Again, I would say: a purchase for life. If you are interested in endurance training for the upper body and at the same time want to train your grip and pulling power, I can absolutely recommend this noble piece.
