Full body training with your own body weight
The Mobile Fitness Revolution
Sling Trainers are perhaps the world’s smallest complete gyms. They offer a full range of exercises, from full-body movements to targeted isolation work. All you need for a versatile and effective workout is a sturdy anchor point and your own body weight. With a Sling Trainer, you always have a complete gym right at your fingertips—anytime, anywhere.
The Sling Trainer Principle
A Sling Trainer allows you to precisely control your training intensity by adjusting the amount of your body weight used as resistance. Imagine performing a rowing exercise: you pull your body up to a holding point until your chest reaches its level. The more horizontal your body position, the more body weight you lift with each repetition. By adjusting the angle of the Sling Trainer, you can customize the difficulty of every exercise to match your fitness level. This principle applies to all bodyweight movements.
Full-Body Training with Maximum Efficiency
Sling Training works multiple muscle groups at once, focusing on integrated movement rather than isolated exercises. This approach is more functional, closely mimicking real-life movements while increasing workout efficiency. It improves both inter- and intramuscular coordination, helping your body function as a cohesive unit.
Because aeroSling trainers feature a deflection pulley, the handles remain unstable, requiring constant activation of deep-lying stabilizing muscles (especially in the core). This enhances muscle interaction, improves body awareness, and boosts functional strength.
Bonus benefit: The increased muscle activation leads to significantly higher calorie consumption compared to traditional workouts. More muscles working means more results in less time.
Dynamic Sling Training with Deflection Pulley
While conventional sling trainers are versatile and effective, they have one major limitation: both grip ropes are fixed to the same point and must always remain the same length. This restricts exercise variety and prevents alternating movements. aeroSling Sling Trainers solve this problem with a deflection pulley, offering greater movement freedom, increased instability, and a significantly wider range of exercises.
Maximum Effectiveness and Freedom of Movement
The aeroSling design allows the main rope, to which the two handles are attached, to move over the deflection pulley. This provides two key benefits. First, the user must actively compensate for instability, which improves coordination and core activation. Second, it enables a variety of alternating and rotational movements, allowing arms or legs to move independently - something static sling trainers cannot offer.
Premium Quality for Maximum Performance
aeroSling Sling Trainers are built for athletes who demand the best. High-quality climbing-grade components ensure durability and long-lasting performance. Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, they withstand the toughest conditions. With a maximum load capacity of 200 kg (far above the industry standard) and a unique construction, aeroSling Sling Trainers offer an unparalleled range of exercises for optimal training results.

FAQ - frequently asked questions
What is aeroSling?
aeroSling is a suspended deflection pulley trainer that adds an entirely new dimension to sling training. Thanks to its innovative deflection pulley, it offers two key advantages over traditional static sling trainers:
- Increased Instability
The main rope moves freely through the suspended deflection pulley, requiring the user to engage more balance and coordination to stabilize during exercises. This heightened instability demands greater strength and body control, making aeroSling training significantly more effective than static sling trainers in the same amount of time. - Expanded Exercise Variety
The deflection pulley opens up a wide range of new exercise possibilities. For example, in a biceps curl, you can alternate between your left and right arms instead of working both simultaneously. This not only helps balance your workout but also engages your core and stabilizing muscles more effectively than traditional one-arm exercises.power pulls, an advanced upper-body exercise that combines the benefits of push-ups and fly movements with added core and coordination challenges.
Beginner-Friendly and Fully Adjustable
If you’re worried that the added instability might be too challenging, don’t be. One of the great things about sling training is the ability to adjust your training intensity simply by changing your body angle relative to the suspension point. If an exercise feels too difficult, just adjust your angle to reduce the resistance. The added instability will still deliver a strong training effect, even with a lighter load.
Prefer to perform an exercise without the deflection pulley? No problem—you can simply block it when needed for a more stable workout.
aeroSling training offers the best of both worlds: versatility, adjustability, and a dynamic workout experience that takes functional training to the next level.
What seperates aeroSling from other Sling Trainers?
The main aspects separating aeroSling from its competitors are its various expansion options and customizability as well as its set-up using highly durable ropes and slings instead of bands. The deflection pulley is yet another difference which enables a multitude of exercises and exercise variations, but especially alternating (between left and right side) exercises. Using the deflection pulley instead of a fixed anchor point adds a much higher instability during training and may increase the training effect. More on the deflection pulley can be found in the first answer above. The fundamental principal of Sling Training, however, remains the same with all types of Sling Trainers. So whatever exercise you can do with a static Sling Trainer you can also do with the aeroSling.
How much space do I need to train with the aeroSling?
The space you will need in order to train with the aeroSling depends on your height, your arm length as well as on the chosen exercise. Please use following target values as a base:
- 80cm on left and right side of the anchor point (arm span).
- Minimum of 260cm from anchor point in direction of use.
These values should be seen as ideal in order to make use of the full exercise potential of the aeroSling.
Where and how do I install the aeroSling?
In general, the aeroSling can be mounted onto anything sturdy enough to hold the user. You can always just use the door anchor that comes with every aeroSling Sling Trainer to mount the Sling Trainer in a door that can easily withstand the resulting forces. Or you use the anchorsling to wrap it around a suitable object. Thanks to the carabiner and the removable door anchor the anchor sling of the aeroSling can very easily be wrapped around a tree or a lamp post. The third mounting solution that we can offer is the aeroSling T-Mount to mount the aeroSling to a wall or ceiling. For all mounting methods, please make sure that the suspension point can withstand the resulting forces without any problems.
Can I install the aerobis Mount to the ceiling?
Yes, the product includes ceiling mount screws which are specially tested for this purpose. For any type of installment, please consider the requirements and conditions of the ceiling or wall.
What height requirements do I have to consider for aeroSling?
The installation of aeroSling does not have to follow specific height requirements. Nevertheless, please consider the following: measuring from its handles, the hanging aeroSling in its full length (not with shortened rope) should hang approx. 20cm above the ground. At the same time, the deflection pulley should hang higher than head-height. Please also consider that the space requirements increase the longer the aeroSling is set up, because the movement radius becomes bigger. The maximal elongation is 195 cm (77 in) excluding the anchor sling and 290 cm (114 in) including the anchor sling. If your anchor point is higher you can add additional anchor slings (100 cm / 40 in each) to increase the length of the installation.
How much weight can aeroSling hold?
aeroSling is approved for a maximum training load of 200 kg, provided that it is properly installed. This means that even trainees with a bodyweight of 200 kg (440 lb) can do every exercise if the anchor point can withstand the resulting forces. The breaking load, i.e. the ability to withstand load peaks, is many times higher than the training load and allows for a safe training at any time. All parts of the aeroSling ELITE have strong break loads:
- Anchor sling – mounted according to manual – breaking load 1.000 kg – material PA (polyamid)
- Main rope 24 thread elements – breaking load 1.000 Kg – material PA
- slings – breaking load 2.500 kg – material PA
- Carabiner – breaking load 2.500 Kg – material aluminium
- Central deflection pulley – breaking load 2.500 kg – ball bearing – material aluminium
- Handles – breaking load 2.500 kg – aluminium with soft grip plastic, certified non-toxic
Will aeroSling hold my entire bodyweight?
Yes! Exercises such as dips or pull-ups are safe to do at a maximum bodyweight of 200 kg.
How do I use the grip knot of aeroSling?
The correct handling of the aeroSling adjustment knot is very simple. To shorten the rope length, hold the main rope below the adjustment knot. Then pull with thumb and forefinger of the other hand on the small strap located on the adjustment knot to loosen the grip knot slightly. Then hold the adjustment knot with the same hand and move it in the desired direction. Here is a video.
How do I tie the grip knot of the aeroSling after undoing it?
You will be able to tie the adjustable grip knot by yourself. Here is a video on how it is done.
Can I block the deflection pulley of aeroSling?
Yes, the deflection pulley can be blocked. The safest way to block the deflection pulley is to use an additional carabiner with the rope of the aeroSling. The technique requires a little practice, but afterwards it is very simple and fast. Take a look at our video below.
Additionally, you can reduce the instability of the aeroSling by twisting the main rope together at least 3 times. As soon as pressure is applied to the handles, the friction of the rope increases, providing more stability. The more times the main rope is twisted together, the more stability is achieved.
Another option is to hook the handle carabiners into each other so that the exerciser only has to hold one handle. The deflection pulley is completely switched off in the so-called “one-handed mode”.
