Finally get outdoors again! We show you how you can organize your outdoor training.

Battle Rope outdoor training

Outdoor training: what is it?

As soon as the first rays of sunlight can be seen, people are pulled outside into nature. Obviously, the pleasant warmth and fresh air dispels the winter blues. At the same time, nature is the perfect place for your outdoor workout. As the name implies, outdoor fitness is about working out outdoors

But what does that mean for you? Instead of going to the gym, you get dressed for the weather, step outside and get started right away. In doing so, you’re taking advantage of the natural conditions on site instead of sitting on machines in the gym. A little creativity can’t hurt when it comes to outdoor fitness: So large stones, park benches or the climbing frame on the playground become the optimal outdoor gym. The practical thing about outdoor training is not only that you save money on the gym. Rather, you can design your own varied and functional workout.

Good reasons for outdoor training

Promoting your fitness outdoors is first and foremost about doing some good for your body and mind. Most people spend enough time indoors anyway. Move your workout to your very own outdoor gym, and you’ll give yourself some much-needed time off from it.

The benefits of working out outdoors

There are numerous reasons for outdoor fitness. The following 5 benefits should really make you want to do your next workout outside:

  1. Awareness: when working out outdoors, you can be aware of every season and every change in the weather. Even when looking for a suitable place for the next exercise, you train your perception. For example, when you think about where you can safely attach your Sling Trainer So not only can you go outside when the sun is shining, but you can train your mindfulness at any time.
  2. Get more variety: outdoor fitness equipment is not a must, but it can complement your outdoor workouts. For example, you can use a alphaband trainer on a sturdy tree or at the nearby fitness trail.
  3. Strengthen your immune system: regular outdoor training, for example with weight vest will support your health. This reduces the risk of catching a cold and you generally benefit from improved resilience.
  4. Relieve stress: Your outdoor training is your time off that you allow yourself on a regular basis. This factor alone helps to reduce stress. In addition, your body is optimally supplied with oxygen outdoors. Tensions may soften as you get fit.
  5. Promote self-love: Fitness outdoors strengthens your sense of self-love. Why? Because you’ll feel like you can do anything after a round outdoors. While you increase the well-being of your body, your satisfaction with yourself increases at the same time.

Regular outdoor exercise strengthens the immune system

A regular exercise routine is good for your body and mind. However, outdoor exercise has even more to offer: It strengthens your immune system. It makes constant sniffles in winter a thing of the past. The reason for this is the combination of fresh air and exercise. Both have a positive effect on your immune system. This is because your blood circulation gets going, the oxygen supply is significantly better and the nutrient supply runs smoothly. This keeps inflammation levels low while your body enjoys an extra dose of vitamin D.

This is what an outdoor workout can look like

Outdoor workouts can complement your outdoor workouts perfectly. What the ideal workout looks like depends, of course, on your own personal goals. In general, however, a mixture of strength and endurance is a good idea. The HIIT method is ideal for this. HIIT stands for high-intensity interval training and means that you combine, for example, 45 seconds of exercise with 15 seconds of rest. Here’s what that might look like for four sets:

  1. Dips on a park bench.
  2. Squats or squat jumps.
  3. Push-ups or planks at a bench.
  4. Lunges, possibly with Sandbags or a kettlebell Weight vests also do a good job here.
  5. Burbeeps or a session with the Battleropes Heavy ropes are best attached with our rope holder for the wall but outdoors you can also place them directly around a tree.
  6. Commando Plank or Single-Leg Deadlift

It’s important that you vary your exercises as much as possible. If you use outdoor exercise equipment, you should take good care of it. For example, with the ropes mentioned above, that’s a battlerope protection This way, you’ll make sure that the outdoor equipment doesn’t wear out too quickly.

Tip: Currently you get both the rope protection and the eyelet for wall mounting for free with the purchase of a Battle Rope! Fat 64€ price advantage.

Conclusion – it’s spring, get outdoors!

The dreary, cloudy winter is coming to an end: so it’s time to finally move life and training back outdoors. With a fitness band like the alphaband loop and the right clothes, you’ll be well equipped for your outdoor workout. If you add a kettlebell or sling trainer to your workout routine, you won’t have to miss the classic equipment. Because you can make your personal gym in nature just as challenging. In addition, you benefit from all the advantages that outdoor training has to offer: Fitness, sun and the pleasant feeling of doing something good for yourself.

I have just trained with the revvll PRO for two weeks. The product is so versatile and I can train almost all major muscles of the body using different variations. The rope pulling training mechanism brings a lot of fun and new elements to my daily training program. Thanks a lot. Hope there will be more new training equipment to be invented by aerobis in the near future.

I received the new massage gun Mini today - it's really awesome! I have for a few years very good experience with the Hypervolt and was actually looking for a "little sister" to the big brother...

The more I was pleased that you have also brought out such a handy little gun. And what can I say: It exceeds my expectations! Significantly even. It has a decent contact pressure and the motor also does not fail if you press properly...

This is a really ingenious little part! Great expansion of your product range.
